Everybody, Everywear: Thrifted, Gifted and Cheap

by debbie

I was super excited to see Everybody, Everywear doing a thrifted edition!  I love to thrift.  It’s fun.  It saves money.  It’s good for the environment.  What’s not to love?

I found this vintage inspired dress at Goodwill for only five dollars!  My macrame bag and shoes and jute belt also came from Goodwill with a grand total of $7 for those three items!

This necklace was also a thrifty buy, even though it came from J.C.Penny’s.  With the sale price and by using a coupon, I only paid two dollars.

These earrings came from an “only $1″ store!

My amethyst birthstone ring is vintage and it was a birthday gift found at  an estate jewelry store.

I found the bag and shoes on the same trip to Goodwill!

My only new item is my green headband.  I bought it at Rite Aid for seven dollars.

What I’m wearing:  Vintage inspired dress, $5, Goodwill.  Macrame bag and shoes, $6 for set, Goodwill.  Jute belt, $1.50, Goodwill.  Vintage inspired owl necklace, $2, J.C.Penney’s.  Green headband, $7, Rite Aid.  My happy smile from all these thrifted finds, priceless.

Total cost of outfit:  $21.50

Do you enjoy thrifting?  Do you like shopping Goodwill, thrift stores, Etsy?  What have been some of your favorite finds?

If you haven’t thrifted before, you might enjoy giving it a try!

thanks so much for watching the lady gaga stuff, just made me smile that you mentioned watching it

i really really like this outfit and how you found the textured purse and shoes to go with it.

i’m loving your birthstone ring too, i love estate sales, even if they’re a little awkward sometimes

I understand what you mean about watching her interviews. This is the second I’ve watched and she’s always calm and polite and you can really tell she loves her fans. Debbie

I have been looking for a dress that style. I tried one on at a NameBrandClothing outlet, but it did not look good on me. Yours is cut beautifully and you look great in it.
